do you make custom stars?
Yes! I can help design a star for your holiday or special occasion. Whether you’ve got something very specific in mind or just a general idea, I can work with you to make something spectacular.
how much do customizations cost?
Additional charges for customizations varies from project to project. Most often I can find existing designs and patterns for under $5 to purchase and/or modify and can add that cost to your star. The cost increases slightly if I have to design a pattern from scratch. Please fill out the contact form to see what I can help you create—the possibilities are endless.
can I hang my star outside?
The standard stars are not waterproof or weather resistant and do best when hung indoors or on a covered porch. By request I can cover your star with “weather resistant” modpodge which will protect your star from the elements but will not “waterproof” your star. Best practice is to bring your star in during very inclement weather and not display outside for extended periods of time.
how can I display my star?
Stars look beautiful everywhere! Larger stars are great way to decorate your front door or any door and any star can be displayed on a wall. Display your star on a mantle, shelf or on a decorative tray. For the holidays, stars make gorgeous ornaments or tree toppers. All stars come predrilled with a string or ribbon ready to hang.
